Reciprocating Compressor M&U - Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced M&U Reciprocating Compressor Lead to drive sales initiatives focused on modernization and upgrades for existing reciprocating compressors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in compressor technology, coupled with exceptional sales competence and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. This role will be pivotal in identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

This role is part of our dynamic regional service Modernization and Upgrades team in Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Identify market trends, customer difficulties, and competitive landscape and develop M&U sales strategies. Conduct detailed assessments of the current RCE fleet to find opportunities for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate and represent the MEAP Region in the internal initiative (Speedboats) that addresses topics related to RCE M&U. Lead technical sales efforts for modernization and upgrade projects related to existing reciprocating compressors, targeting both new and existing customers.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of modernization and upgrade solutions.
• Develop RCE regional PDMs to achieve perfection in both technical and commercial aspects. Provide technical product training for regional teams, representatives, agents, and clients as required.
• Lead client communication such as technical presentations on rotating machinery M&U solutions and Siemens Energy's value propositions.
• Develop regional technical and commercial proposals in alignment with customer requirements, defining the commercial according to organization’s policies and rules (Price, payment term, T&C’s etc)
• Prepare and issue Request for Quotations to the relevant major sub-suppliers in support of Siemens Energy bundled “extended scope" solutions) e.g. for site scans, cable laying, foundations, etc.)
• Work closely with various departments within the organization to collect the necessary information for preparing quotations for extended scope projects (such as site execution, repair center activities, installation, commissioning, and performance testing).
  
  
  

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering with proven ability in rotating machinery in the energy industries, with extensive knowledge in rotating machinery (compressors).
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in RCE Engineering, RCE Proposals, M&U or related work experience.
• Understanding of customer focused equipment and related auxiliary system control upgrade needs, with the ability to inform the factory about upgrade requirements and explain technical solutions to clients.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across organizational and international boundaries, with a strong and confident presence in front of Siemens Energy and client personnel.
• Self-motivated with high energy drive and business sense, with a good understanding of driven/driver rotating equipment design and thermodynamic principles.
• Experience with Siemens Energy’s rotating machinery products is preferable, along with an understanding of competition's products and offerings.
• Willingness to travel when needed, with the ability to present and discuss technical solutions effectively via Microsoft Teams.
