About the role:
Their duties can range from monitoring the quality and consistency of products, to developing and evaluating performance metrics, analyzing data, and providing feedback to management on customer service performance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures for tea production and packaging, including raw material inspection, in-process quality checks, and final product inspection.
- Quality analysis: Ensure quality analysis for all products, including incoming tea, ingredients, accessories, packaging, tea blends and straight teas, as per respective SOPs.
- Packaging and accessories: Inspect all packaging and accessories, incoming and in-process should match with the ET quality standards.
- Process monitoring: Monitor everyday activities at different process levels to ensure adherence to the quality standards and respective SOPs.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with the operations team to implement necessary changes.
- Training and Development: Train employees on quality control procedures, quality standards, and best practices.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate and address quality issues and non-conformances.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, test results, and corrective actions taken. Monitor and handle ERP and offline quality inspections. Ensure documentation complies with relevant standards and regulations.
- Communication: Liaise with internal stakeholders, such as production managers, supervisors, and the customer.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Education: Graduated with a science background.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in using tools like Excel or statistical software is an advantage.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate quality-related information via mails.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
- Time Management: Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet quality objectives within given timelines.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrating good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
- Experience: Prior experience in a quality control role, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment, will be a plus.
