Role: The ideal candidate is a team player with strong testing skills, insurance industry knowledge, a good acquaintance with quality assurance concepts, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to multiple platforms.

Your Day With Equisoft

• Review specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverables
• Understand and identify test requirements from specifications or verbal communications
• Develop, document and maintain clear and concise functional test plans and test cases
• Walkthrough test cases/scenarios with project BA/Client to receive the feedback and sign-off.
• Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
• Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements
• Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
• Liaison with development, project management, and customer on quality and project scope and deliverables
• Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and communicate through appropriate channels
• Participate in key ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate in an Agile environment along with a dynamic team composed of software developers, architects, and project managers
• Take ownership of Quality at every stage of the delivery process
  
  

Requirements

Technical

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma combined to 3 years of relevant experience
• 4+ years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge in OIPA application flow is an asset
• Experience with Quality Assurance processes
• Knowledge of relational databases and basic knowledge of DB queries
• Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
