The Opportunity:

We are on the lookout for a QA Automation Engineer with aspirations of having business impact by delivering across the software development lifecycle from understanding requirements to delivering results in the production environment. He/she will be working on developing, enhancing and automating QA functional, regression and performance test suite as well as operate in a team following agile methodologies.

What you will be doing:

• Strong problem-solving skills, requirements gathering, test case design and documentation
• Experience in developing test automation scripts to test UI and API endpoints using frameworks/tools like Playwright, Postman
• Strong experience in UI component level testing, End-to-End scenario testing, regression testing, performance benchmarking
• Support and improve the Agile/QA practices within the organization.
• Ability to research and adopt new technologies to test and validate consistent user experience across multiple technology domains such as Big Data, Blockchain and GenAI
• Understanding business requirements and delivering quality technology solutions to meet business needs.
• Be proactive in taking responsibility and ownership across the full SDLC – from requirements gathering to, to development, testing and release. Ultimately be responsibility for the delivery to production that address the business requirements.
• Take ownership and accountability for the quality of Software delivered to Business and always strive to improve the team’s ability to find optimal solutions that not only address functional requirements but also is resilient and robust in handling edge cases to enhance overall user experience
• Experience in leading hands-on issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis and remediation
• Strong sense of ownership around achieving platform stability and operation efficiency
• Ability to collaborate and lead in cross units initiatives

What you'll need to be successful:

• Java programming or scripting skills to develop automated test code
• Software Development and Linux proficiency
• Experience in Continuous Integration practices
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Ideally have relevant Quality Assurance certifications
