Title And Summary

Quality Assurance Analyst I

We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer with 2 to 5 years of experience in enterprise-level performance testing. The ideal candidate will report to the performance testing lead and work closely with the development team to build and execute performance test suites, analyze results, and document reports.

Role

• The test engineer will be a part of an agile team conducting performance tests on applications and products.
  
  
  

Responsibilities Include

• Preparing load test scripts in JMeter.
• Performing load, endurance, scalability, and spike tests.
• Analyzing test results to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Documenting test results.
• Logging defects in Jira.
• Generating test data for defined tests, recognizing test environment preparation needs, executing existing test plans, and reporting results.
• Participating in requirements reviews, story elaborations, and testing activities.
• Collaborating closely with developers to understand applications and analyze performance issues.
• Sharing experience and insights by suggesting process improvements.
• Conducting demos of test results for stakeholders.
  
  
  

Skills

• Relevant work experience in conducting performance testing of mission-critical applications.
• Knowledge of QA processes and testing methodologies.
• Experience in creating workload models and collecting performance requirements from stakeholders.
• Ability to create Performance Test Plans and Performance Test Reports.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, and BlazeMeter.
• Proficient in API testing, with experience using tools like Postman and Insomnia.
• Familiarity with different protocols and API/Web services.
• Experience in performance monitoring and analysis using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, Windows Performance Monitor, and Grafana.
