Summary Of Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of an educational project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing educational or public sector initiatives and be adept at handling multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables. This role will require close coordination with schools, government agencies, implementation teams, and reporting units to ensure successful project execution and compliance.

Job Description

Project Planning & Implementation

  • Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and timelines aligned with program objectives.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the allocation of resources and manage day-to-day implementation activities.

Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Monitor project progress against the project plan and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Conduct field visits and regular check-ins with implementation teams to ensure quality

and compliance.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including government bodies,

school administrators.

  • Organize and lead regular stakeholder meetings to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Ensure alignment between implementation partners and overall program strategy.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of all project activities, changes, and decisions.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, impact assessments, and donor reports.
  • Document best practices, lessons learned, and success stories to inform future projects.

Skills, Qualifications & Experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Project Management, Public Administration, or a related field (master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the education sector or with donor-funded projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Gantt charts, excel, PPT).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on project outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with government education departments or international NGOs.
  • Familiarity with educational technologies or digital learning tools.
