The Work You'll Do

As a Product Manager at Sovos, you will help shape key GST and compliance solutions used by businesses across India. You’ll work closely with engineering, QA, design, and domain experts to turn regulatory requirements into real product features. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on ownership, fast decision-making, and delivering high-quality releases in an Agile environment.

What You Will Do

• Own the product roadmap for your area (3–6 month planning).
• Define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in an Agile SDLC.
• Lead 15-day sprint planning, backlog prioritisation, and daily progress tracking.
• Write clear, detailed PRDs for engineering and QA teams.
• Partner with QA on bug lists, testing challenges, and release quality.
• Translate GST regulations and customer feedback into product requirements.
• Identify new opportunities in India’s regtech/GST ecosystem.
• Support buy/build/partner assessments for faster delivery.
• Explain new features to internal teams for client communication.
• Contribute to pricing, win/loss insights, and product performance.
• Collaborate with global teams across time zones.
• Use AI tools to enhance documentation, prioritisation, and product decisions.
  
  

What We Need From You

• 2+ years of product management experience (more senior candidates considered).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile processes, and prioritisation methods.
• Tech product experience required; GST/regtech experience is a strong plus.
• Proven experience writing PRDs and managing sprints independently.
• Strong communication skills for technical and regulatory topics.
• Ability to work with global cross-functional teams across time zones.
• Comfortable presenting product decisions to senior leaders.
• Self-aware, curious, and committed to continuous learning.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and result focus.
• Skilled with tools like Jira, Confluence, analytics platforms, and collaboration tools.
• Willingness to travel occasionally; able to pass a background check.
  
  

Please note that this is a hybrid role, with candidates expected to work from our Navi Mumbai (Vashi) office 3 days per week. During the onboarding process, full onsite attendance may be required.
