We are looking for a customer-focused, passionate, and technically strong software engineer with experience in enterprise and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) environments. Your ability to advocate for customers, prioritize service excellence, and collaborate across teams will be critical to your success—and ours.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and refine technical requirements.
• Own end-to-end feature development—from design and architecture to implementation and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code for products, services, or features.
• Break down complex work items into smaller, manageable tasks and provide accurate estimations.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Build services that are secure, reliable, highly available, and fault-tolerant.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support live services, mitigate incidents, and restore availability using software-driven tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve live site issues with minimal customer impact.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, F#, GoLang, Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and shipping software.
• 4+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and shipping software.
• 2+ Years of experience of building distributed systems and/or cloud platform services.
• Competent debugging and problem-solving skills for complex, production-grade systems.
  

Other Qualifications

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
• OR related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, OR Python
• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ years experience with Azure services, especially in IaaS and hybrid cloud scenarios.
• Exposure to virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Publications and/or certifications related to cloud technologies.
• 1+ years experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small project teams.
