The Consumption Billing team in purview builds at scale components enabling pay as you go billing for multiple Purview solutions. This is an at scale infra capability with 6 9s of reliability. We build components that enable the smooth flow and aggregation of billing events as well as purview solution reporting, estimators to ensure that customers can clearly understand their own usage and value they are deriving from the various capabilities. Responsibilities

We are looking for fast learning, highly motivated, creative and analytical software engineers to lead the design all up for this product area. In addition to strong technical skills, you should have a passion for innovation, collaboration and software quality.You will be expected to leverage AI tools to operate in a highly efficient and effective manner and drive the AI adoption within the team.

Responsibilities Include

• You will be responsible to perform investigations and investments in complex areas; designing and delivering features end to end - including system architecture, code, deployment, scale, performance and quality, from conception to delivery. 
• Design and implement scalable, reliable, maintainable services 
• Demonstrate strategic understanding of the timing and rationale for design choices, within the scope of work. 
• Consistently contribute key ideas to the product or service design and vision that meets the customer's needs 
• Drive design reviews across the team and apply expertise in available technologies 
• Apply metrics to drive the quality and stability of code 
  
  

Qualifications

Required/Minimym qualifications

• Expertise/Experience-  Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and common Design Patterns 
• 10+ years of relevant software development experience and proficient in C# (Java or C++) 
• Ability to communicate technical details clearly across organizational boundaries.
• Experience in DevOps to maintain live services and\or application frameworks.
• Cloud and services experience, with Azure cloud experience highly desirable.
• Analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to software design.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline using agile practices 
• Ability to quickly ramp up on multiple technology areas  
  
  

Essential qualifications - BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent years of work experience.
