The incumbent will be responsible for the following listed activities:
- Carrying out various piping activities and Pipe stress Analysis, preparation of deliverables as identified in the Functional Competencies as necessary on their appointed project
- Signing drawings and documents as originator in accordance with correct procedures
- Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities etc
- Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and client and projects standards
- Adhering to company’s engineering procedures for design safety and adopting safe attitudes towards engineering design and raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities
- Correct implementation of all piping CAD and system related functions in their appointed area
- B.E (Mechanical) with relevant years of experience in Pipe Stress Analysis.
- Familiar with functioning and requirements of Pipe and plant design group having main strength in at least one area of piping design discipline.
- Has worked with similar consulting companies or related industries on a project and/ has gained a solid foundation from a recognised industry on-job training course of at least two-year duration.
- Has experience in assisting to produce common piping deliverables including plot plans, isometrics, 3D models and other basic drawings required for an engineering project.
