Power BI Developer Location: TechM Hyd HIC SEZ U4T2(G 3F) Years of Experience: 5 7 Years Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization and analytics, with a proven ability to design, develop, and publish advanced Power BI dashboards and reports. This role requires collaboration with business users to gather requirements and iterate on visual designs, ensuring that our data driven insights are both actionable and visually appealing. Responsibilities Design, develop, and publish advanced Power BI dashboards and reports using best practices. Connect to various data sources including SQL Server and cloud based APIs. Develop complex DAX measures and calculated columns for dynamic visualizations. Create and optimize data models ensuring performance and reusability. Implement row level security (RLS) and data access controls as required. Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and iterate visual designs. Integrate Power BI reports with Power Apps, Power Automate, or embedded applications. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation using Power Query (M language). Schedule data refreshes and manage workspace deployments across environments. Strong in SQL coding or other database scripting. Mandatory Skills Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI development and dashboard creation. Strong experience with DAX and Data Modelling. Expertise in SQL Server and data integration. Experience with Power Query for Data Transformation. Ability to implement row level security and data access controls. Preferred Skills Exposure to other BI tools such as Qlikview, MicroStrategy, or Tableau. Familiarity with Power Platform Powerapps App Development and Power Automate Flow. Experience in Data Cleaning techniques. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 7 years of experience in Power BI development and data analytics. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
