We are seeking an experienced and strategic PMO Specialist to join the APAC Service Management Office at Vestas. This role is pivotal in enhancing excellence across regional and global service projects by improving governance, portfolio management, and operational efficiency.

As part of the Project Management Office (PMO), the PMO Specialist will be responsible for the development and implementation of project standards, tools, and reporting frameworks, while partnering with sub-regional teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities. The role demands an initiative-driven outlook, proficient analytical capabilities, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Service APAC > Business Improvement APAC > Project Management Office APAC

Responsibilities

  • Oversee governance and portfolio management processes for strategic APAC service projects
  • Develop and maintain standardized project management methodologies, tools, and templates
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project managers across sub-regions
  • Oversee cost-out initiatives, risk management, and change control processes
  • Continuous improvement through performance analysis and stakeholder feedback
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and ensure transparency in project reporting
  • Conduct training and capability-building sessions for project teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, PMO, or strategic operations in energy, infrastructure, or industrial services
  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, SAP, Jira, Power BI)
  • Comprehensive understanding of portfolio governance, cost tracking, risk management, and change management
  • Certification in PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent is highly desirable
