Job Details:

• Utilize your expertise to maintain the integrity of the employee payroll database, ensuring accurate pay rates, direct deposit information, and tax withholding.
• Review data entry after each payroll cycle, implementing creative solutions to enhance processes
• Handle complex assignments involving timecard management, including the computation of overtime, vacation, sick leave, and hours worked.
• Independently identify and recommend new procedures to streamline payroll operations.
• Execute tasks outlined in the payroll transmittal while ensuring accuracy throughout the calculation process.
• Take the initiative to develop improved methodologies for these operational functions.
• Review and interpret garnishment notices, calculate deduction amounts, and prepare remittance checks with associated documentation.
• Maintain proactive communication with employees and external parties regarding garnishment statuses.
• Act as a facilitator and team leader, working closely with disability carriers to coordinate the calculation and payment of supplemental sick leave.
• Engage with employees to inform them of payroll processing errors and address their inquiries.
• Support employment verification requests, unemployment benefit audits, and similar forms, acting as a key resource for the organization.
