ROLE

Level: Consultant

As an Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines in an agile framework. Need-basis consultants will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.

The work you will do includes:

• Experienced in developing software solutions using industry standard delivery methodologies like Agile, Waterfall across different architectural patterns.
• Writing well-formatted, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code maintaining industry standards, ensuring code quality and code coverage adherence, as well as debugging and resolving any issues/defects
• Participating in delivery process like Agile development and actively contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Be responsible for designing and executing manual/automated tests and reporting defects in the system
• Deliver end-to-end automation along with functional testing and status reporting with effective communication
  
  

Qualifications

Skills / Project Experience:

Must Have:

• 2 – 4.5 years of hands-on experience in Automation testing using Selenium with good knowledge on JAVA/C#/Python, Web Services and API Testing
• Ability to handle exceptions, File I/O, API interactions, and Database
• Deep understanding of STLC and defect life cycle process
• Experience in Agile/Waterfall methodology using JIRA/Trello/qTest/HP ALM
• Experience in GIT/Bitbucket/SVN, CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo, BDD/TestNG-Hybrid/Data/Keyword framework in a cross-browser environment
• Ability to perform estimation of work products
• Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries
• Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools
  
  

Good to Have:

ISTQB/CSTE Testing Certifications

Cloud-related certification like AWS/GCP/Azure, etc.

• Knowledge of RDBMS databases like MS-SQL Server, Oracle with strong SQL knowledge
• Working knowledge of test management tools like Microfocus/ Bugzilla / Visual Studio Test Manager /Maven / Test Link/ TestRail/ Zephyr
• Understanding of containerization/ virtualization using Docker/Portainer
• Understanding of security tools like SonarQube/SonarLint
• Experienced in logging tools like Kibana/ Dynatrace
• Experience with AWS/ AZURE
• Experience in Mobile Automation using Appium/ Espresso/ XCUI Test
  
  

Education:

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university   

2 – 4.5 years of experience working with Selenium, UI testing, Webservices Testing
