Key Responsibilities:
- Managerial Responsibilities (30%) :
- Oversee and guide small plants/sites in their journey towards Operations Excellence.
- Coach and support business leaders and functional members to identify real issues and opportunities.
- Develop prioritized improvement initiatives and coach through to successful implementation.
- Coordinate the creation of plant maturity goals in collaboration with business leaders and end-to-end process owners.
- Execute the Corporate Operations Excellence Strategy and roadmap to achieve plant maturity goals.
- General Responsibilities (70%) :
- Apply knowledge of Operations Excellence principles and practices as they are applied to Cummins.
- Utilize continuous improvement tools and follow Cummins Operations Excellence standards.
- Lead the development of manufacturing standards and working methods.
- Communicate with and influence key stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members.
- Maintain relationships and coach key stakeholders.
- Work alongside end-to-end process owners and operations excellence peers to prioritize continuous improvement efforts.
- Lead projects in a cross-functional environment.
- Provide solutions for complex manufacturing issues across the Cummins network.
- Contribute to measurable and significant improvements.
- Participate in knowledge sharing to develop plant subject-matter expertise in one or more functions.

- College, university, or equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience required.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Mechanical/Industrial Engineering Graduate with 5-10 years of experience in Operations Excellence, Industrial Engineering, I4.0, or Automation Project Domain.
- Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including manufacturing or manufacturing plant experience, and team leadership experience preferred.
