  • Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job

Responsible Engineers for handling plant and Utility Maintainance

Job Requirements

  • B-Tech/Engg in Electrical.
  • 3+years’ experience in Engineering/Maintenance profile.
  • Appropriate knowledge and AN HSE&S Competence as per AN HSE requirements –
  • Good Technical Knowledge & interpersonal relationships.

Maintenance:

  • Responsible for process equipment maintenance including critical to process safety like dust collectors, Earthing , pressure vessels, hazardous area pumps , hazardous area equipment, etc
  • Carry out the breakdown, preventive and predictive maintenance of all process, lab and utilities
  • Responsible for Shift handover procedure compliance
  • Develop preventive maintenance check list for each equipment including safeties
  • Issue the job cards to technicians to perform the task (SAP PM)
  • Carryout the daily meeting of technicians
  • Carryout fishbone and 5Why analysis of major problems-
  • Responsible for doing analysis of critical spares safety stock -
  • Identify, communicate and follow up with vendors to provide spares
  • Identify the critical spares and ensure the availability of the same
  • Record on shift basis the breakdown, history card , planned and unplanned data entry into the system Through SAP PM
  • Operate and maintain the utilities like generators, chillers, air compressors, transformers
  • Monitor and ensure the AMC of all the contracted equipment are carried out as per schedule-

HSE:

  • Ensure all safety standards are followed as per local & AN Safety standard and will be part of process safety improvement team.
  • Responsible for critical safety items checks of the equipment identified as critical items as per checklist.
  • Be an active participant in risk assessment process
  • Ensuring the compliance of 9+1 LCP (life critical procedures of AkzoNobel)
  • Comply to PTW procedures.
  • Compliance to LSR -Life saving rule and golden principle
  • Responsible for firefighting system Maintenance
  • Conduct the department SAFE meetings-
  • Responsible for NearMiss/Hazard and BBS in Enablon system

Others:

  • Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with all internal departments & external contacts such as government contractors etc.
  • Ensure the maximum uptime of the equipment.
  • Ensure to follow the AN HSE Standards and Directives.
  • Level of Autonomy
