Job Responsibilities
- Issue right and accurate required drawings to sales and purchase departments on time and ensure that all changes/modification in the drawing must be implemented in Machine Shop, Quality Control and Vendor etc. In time to make sure that job does not produce with obsolete drawings.
- Calculate dimensions and allowances with accurate precision.
- Compile data and specifications sheets.
- Revise, update and maintain drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements.
- Design high quality, robust, and cost effective CAD product models by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly using industry, departmental and discipline standards.
- Read, understand, analyses drawings and develop it from sketches or descriptions developed by engineers, both in 2D and 3D models.
- Establish, implement, maintain and update records of design process in accordance with sound design practices and ISO requirements and a database for the CAD design documentation.
- Handle complex designing and drafting assignments under minimal supervision.
- Organise drawing's library in a structured manner to ensure easy retrieval of drawing.
- Confer with customer representatives to review schematics and answer questions pertaining to installation of systems.
- Prepare engineering documents for customer submittal.
- Proactively seek feedback from leaders to improve work
- Deliver projects under budgeted time and hours and track your time in time tracking software/spreadsheet.
- Expert in SOLID WORK (Mandatory)
- Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
- Experience in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
- Basic knowledge of GD&T and fundamental of Engineering Drg
