The Market Data Analyst is responsible for liaising with clients, sources, and internal stakeholders to provide advice and guidance to ensure all internally mandated criteria are met. The candidate has a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, works well independently, achieves repeatable results, is knowledgeable of departmental and company responsibilities, and understands exchange/source policies as well as managing internal policies and procedures

The Market Data Analyst is responsible for liaising with clients, sources, and internal stakeholders to provide advice and guidance to ensure all internally mandated criteria are met. The candidate has a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, works well independently, achieves repeatable results, is knowledgeable of departmental and company responsibilities, and understands exchange/source policies as well as managing internal policies and procedures
Responsibilities
- Provide consultancy services to internal stakeholders in relation to exchange data
- Liaise with clients, sources and internal business stakeholders providing guidance and working with internal applications and systems so that clients may receive the data in a timely fashion
- Respond and engage proactively with exchanges/sources regarding policies and rules and other ad hoc requests
- Track status of said approvals and update stakeholders regularly as to status of pending items
- Store all approvals in a centralized repository
- Produce high-quality Reporting outputs and contribute to client reporting
- Advise on Market Data pricing models, licensing obligations and non-standard product reviews
- Assess the impact of policy updates on existing client entitlements and take appropriate actions
- Conduct quality control of your work and apply effective practices to minimize errors
- Offer a value-add service across our firm’s multiple business lines
- Provide a proactive, forward-facing, service orientated group with a clear understanding of the value of the corporate strategic assets (“the data”) of which we are in effect the custodians
- Implement a series of clearly defined best practices across all business lines and all product lines in order to support our global business in a timely, efficient & compliant way
- Implement robust processes to support the sales cycle and the client on-boarding process while adhering to our core principals of source compliance & consistency
- Special projects and tasks assigned
- College degree or equivalent industry experience
- Exhibits a proactive nature and approach to learning, problem identification and resolution
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; Excel and PowerPoint essential. Visio knowledge is preferred
- Thoroughness, attention to detail and the ability to think and work both independently and within a team environment
- Service oriented toward both internal and external clients
- Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills
- Good written, oral, and interpersonal skills
