What do we expect:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Team Manager to join our Digital Portals team. You will be working with an enthusiastic team of developers and product managers working closely to maximize quality of software delivery products and enhancing user experience. Sometimes, issues might get tricky, and this is where cooperation on troubleshooting with other IT support teams and specialists will come into play.
You’ll be working in agile and waterfall environments, but always focusing on building user centric applications and running them according to the motto: "You build it, you run it".
This role will help DHL to continuously improve strategic products delivering secure, high-quality software products to ITS internal teams and BUs.

This role will help DHL to continuously improve strategic products delivering secure, high-quality software products to ITS internal teams and BUs.
What you will do:
- Lead and manage a team of software engineers and product managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
- Facilitate communication and ensure clarity of project expectations and outcomes.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of different products, ensuring they are based on a modern, scalable, and cost-efficient architecture.
- Provide leadership, aligning the team's goals with the company's digital strategy and ensuring successful execution.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to share ideas and implement best practices.
- Identify skill gaps within the team and facilitate training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the team’s budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives.
- Conduct thorough analyses to identify business needs and opportunities for improvement and ensure valuable product roadmaps.
- Strongly demonstrated leadership in service, customer orientation, project management and communication skills
- Excellent understanding of DevOps Processes in a cloud based environment
- Excellent understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and procedures (ideally scrum master certification and solid skills in tools like jira, confluence).
- Experienced in working in multi-cultural environment, managing project teams in direct and widely dispersed geographical locations.
- Capability to lead, motivate, inspire and encourage highly skilled people.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering an environment that encourages employee participation, teamwork, and communication.
- Solid technical understanding of complex system integration and networking architecture.
- Skilled in budgeting and managing revenue.
- Results oriented and driven by goal achievement with a strong focus on high quality service performance across different location and culture.
- Professional in Information Technology, with more than 5 years management experience in a multinational company
- Graduate in a technical and business-related discipline - MBA or equivalent
- Hybrid work arrangements to balance in-office collaboration and home flexibility.
- Annual Leave: 42 days off apart from Public / National Holidays.
- Medical Insurance: Self + Spouse + 2 children. An option to opt for Voluntary Parental Insurance (Parents / Parent -in-laws) at a nominal premium covering pre existing disease.
