Manager, Engineering, Chennai

Our NielsenIQ Technology teams are working on our new Connect platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQs data and insights to innovate and grow.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing client/user requirements
• Writing code that creates innovative programs that satisfy requirements
• Writing code that develops existing programs to add features or make them more efficient
• Testing code and making adjustments until programs work reliably as required
• Identifying and correcting program bugs
• Writing technical specifications and instructions
• Ability to work in an agile development environment and using agile tools
  
  

Qualifications

• 10 years of expertise in programming languages - strong Python, pyspark- Ability to code in Python and/or R complex algorithms (Python is the priority)
• Developing SQL databases and writing applications to interface with SQL database
• Experience in Unix environments
• Docker, Azure AKS knowledge
• Python deployment to dockers.
• Python Fast API knowledge
• Working knowledge on code coverage tools and Security tools.
• Working knowledge with cloud components (VM, AKS, ASB, BLOB)
