Lead / Senior Engineer - Product Design, B5/B4

Job Summary:

Candidate will own and drive tasks for Factory Automation business unit locations to fulfill Engineering Project execution through Creo, PLM per Factory Automation Standard Practices & Procedures.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Understand Project / Work Scope, plan and deliver quality output / deliverables to meet the expected schedule and timeline
• Periodic Interaction with Engineering Manager through Verbal & Written Communication
• Leads Product Design and CAD Activities through respective support resources as needed
• Generate Project Metrics as per EIC-Pune and / or Business Unit Guidelines
• Report Local Manager for All the activities
• Contribute to EIC-Pune Assigned Initiatives
• Should be able to work in Engineering Laboratory for Product & System Level Testing following Safety Practices & Guidelines

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum bachelor’s in engineering mechanical / production having relevant design exposure of @ minimum 6 – 8 years in Pneumatically operated Solenoid Valves will be preferred.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, Tolerance Study and International Standards.
• Good Knowledge of Solenoid Valves, Relief valves, Pneumatic Valves, Shutoff Valve. Keywords: Solenoid Valve, Pneumatics, Air Operated Valves, Filter Regulators, Valve Design, Pneumatic circuit diagrams, Pneumatic Flow Diagrams, Pneumatic ISO Symbol
• Conversant with MS Office Software tools such Word, Excel & Power Point, SAP Document Management
• Good Knowledge of plastic injection molding process
• Knowledge of smart joining technology like plastic welding will be preferred
• Conversant with CAD tools like Creo, AutoCAD preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and team working player.
• Good Lateral Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills
• Respect company’s values and ethics
• A willingness to learn is critical
• Good Communication skills in Verbal English with neutral accent is desirable
• Prior Working Experience in Global Engineering Environment is preferred
