Lead Product Designer

Axis Digital (FreeCharge) is hiring a product designer to join and strengthen the design team. This team is focused on optimizing and improving the overall customer experience by understanding the why of team workflows and the processes involved. As a product designer, you are embedded in a product vertical alongside a team of designers, PMs, engineers, and other cross-functional partners. In addition to conducting many different types of practical and impactful research, you are also passionate about helping to build and maintain a strong user-centered culture at the company. You'll help us deliver an experience that aligns with our mission: to make banking simpler and accessible to everyone. Responsibilities

• Gather and prioritize key questions from product, design, engineering, and product marketing teams.
• Plan and conduct practical, impactful research throughout the entire product cycle to answer the questions posed above.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, analysts, and content strategists to define problems & goals; map user flows, prototype interactions, and launch new products and services.
• Design product concepts that balance vision, craft, speed, and business needs.
• Craft every detail of new product features, from idea to UX to pixel-perfect execution.
  
  

Requirements

• Hands-on with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis.
• Experience managing projects involving cross-functional teams.
• Strong storytelling skills and an ability to frame insights into compelling narratives.
• Create clear, intuitive, and visually appealing human interfaces.
• You can untangle vague conceptual problems and have a sharp intuition for the most accessible mental models and flows, so users can immediately start gaining value out of the product.
• You're a good listener who collaborates well with different stakeholders.
• You observe and internalize all inputs and feedback to help you reach an optimal decision.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and perform a wide variety of research-related tasks, including recruiting participants.
