Lead - Procurement Coordinator/Analyst

General Summary:

The Procurement Coordinator/Analyst is responsible for ensuring the on-time delivery of assigned materials and/or services from approved and qualified suppliers in support of aircraft manufacturing demand requirements. The primary function of the Procurement Coordinator/Analyst role is to liaise with Manufacturing, Quality, Customer Service and Procurement on Supplier material delivery commitments. Resolve goods receipt issues with appropriate individuals. Manage return of non-conforming materials.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports supply chain team to achieve business requirements and ensure compliance with company’s procurement policies
• Communicates to Suppliers supply requirements, purchase order changes, purchase order prioritization, delivery requirements and manages supplier execution in alignment with these requirements
• Executes and edits purchase orders as required to support production needs and/or supplier delivery commitments
• Monitors and expedites deliveries on assigned commodity items
• Supports expedited outside vendor processing and onsite supplier rework activities
• Documents and communicates purchase order status and projected fulfilment across internal organizations
• Maintains accurate purchasing files in compliance with company record keeping policies and potential audit trails.
• Develop, manage, and communicate Line of Balance for critical parts as needed to support the Tactical Buyer
• Escalates unresolved supply disconnects or shortages to assigned Tactical Buyer for additional support
• Resolves incoming Certificate of Conformance and invoicing discrepancies
• Manages and resolves invoicing discrepancies to support Strategic and Tactical Buyers.
• Manages and resolves receiving discrepancies (RD)
• Manages and resolves quality notifications (QN)
• Manages the return of nonconforming product
• Supports Tactical Buyer on communication between Procurement, MRP, CS and the Production Floor in relation to parts shortages and movement
• Participates in the daily Pulse Meeting, Weekly Supplier Risk and Supplier Crisis Meetings
• Assists other procurement staff with identified projects and programs as required
• Prepares supporting documents and materials during the procurement process.
• Maintains accurate purchasing files in compliance with company record keeping policies and potential audit trails.
  
  
  

Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:

Any Bachelor’s Degree or Engineering preferred or equivalent Supply Chain experience within the aviation/aerospace manufacturing industry

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge and a thorough understanding of Material Resource Planning, procurement, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Previous experience and/or proficiency in using ERP systems; SAP preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, deadline-oriented environment, while simultaneously managing multiple high-priority initiatives.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of internal customers.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with suppliers and all levels of company personnel.
• Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team-oriented environment.
• Ability to research, analyse data, and clearly/concisely present conclusions.
• Some travel may be required.
