Summary

We are looking for an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) Project Manager for Carrier's Engineering function as part of the central World Head Quarters Engineering Sustainability Organization. The Sustainability Engineering organization is accelerating Carrier’s sustainability initiatives to reach Net Zero through investments in advanced research, technologies and design for sustainability methods that will shape the future of our products and services. As the EPD Project Manager, you will drive Carrier’s cross-functional creation and publication of third-party certified sustainability certificates related to life cycle assessments (LCAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the LCA practitioner supplier relationship to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Maintain and update systems and processes for efficient EPD drafting and publishing.
• Collaborate with sourcing and engineering to gather necessary life cycle assessment inputs (Bill of Materials, manufacturing energy, etc).
• Work with business unit product teams to assess the need for EPDs across our product portfolio.
• Monitor the evolving and complex regulatory environment and assess its implications for Carrier’s reporting needs.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Experience driving and influencing cross-functional teams
• Experience with supplier management
• Advanced knowledge of life cycle assessments
• Knowledge of relevant standards related to Environmental Product Declarations / Product Environmental Profiles such as ISO 14040, ISO 14044 and EN15804
• Good understanding of HVAC domain
• Strong familiarities in dealing with different tools (Visual studio, IBM Jazz, Azure Dev Ops, Git etc.) and software development methodologies.
• Good understanding of static code analysis tools and automation build scripts (Jenkins server)
  
  

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in engineering or sustainability.

BE/B Tech/MS/M Tech degree in E&E, Energy/ECE streams
