Lead Engineer - Battery

Job Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for validating battery, power, and thermal performance of electronic devices, with a focus on scripting and hardware understanding. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior engineer with 2-5 years of experience to grow their skills and contribute to the development of innovative products.

Work Experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Battery, Power, and Thermal Validation:
• Design and execute validation tests to ensure battery, power, and thermal performance meet product requirements.
• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Scripting and Automation:
• Develop scripts using languages such as Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW to automate testing and data analysis.
• Create and maintain tools to improve testing efficiency and accuracy.
• Hardware Understanding:
• Familiarize yourself with electronic device architecture and components.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues related to battery, power, and thermal performance.
• Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze test data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Create reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  

Requirements

• Education: Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience: 8-12 years of experience in battery, power, and thermal validation, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
• Experience with electronic device architecture and components.
• Knowledge of testing and validation principles.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  

Nice To Have

• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or Certified Test Engineer.
• Experience with: Electronic design automation (EDA) tools, simulation software, or thermal analysis tools.
