Job summary: -

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team.

The Junior Accountant will assist in various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial data entry.

This position offers an opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic financial environment with a company that has an annual turnover of Rs. 200 Crores and specializes in the export business.

Responsibilities-

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, bills, and financial transactions.
• Support the Accounts Manager in day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Assist in reconciling bank statements and financial accounts.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Help in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Assist in tax compliance and the preparation of GST returns.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
• Support with data entry and financial data analysis.
• Work closely with the senior finance team members to learn and develop accounting skills.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency in the accounting department.
• Perform other ad-hoc financial tasks as required.

Skills: -

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Mandatory experience in Online Payment processing and E invoicing and Corporate Online Banking.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the accounting profession.
• Prior experience or internships in accounting is a plus.
