  • Welding Expertise:
  • Perform welding activities according to IWE standards, ensuring the quality and integrity of welded structures.
  • Work with various types of metals and materials commonly used in scaffolding manufacturing.
  • Apply expertise in different welding techniques, of MIG, welding, while maintaining precision and accuracy.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Follow IWE welding guidelines, ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and specifications.
  • Perform inspections and quality checks on welded components to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Participate in quality control processes and assist in the development of welding procedures that align with ISO/IWE requirements.
  • Training and Skill Enhancement:

Train the team to ensure continuous improvement in welding techniques and adherence to ISO welding standards.

  • Train and mentor junior welders in welding techniques, safety protocols, and ISO guidelines.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in welding technology and practices to maintain a high level of expertise
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including logs, reports, and inspection results.
  • Prepare welding reports and documentation required for IWE certification and client audits.
  • Safety and Environment:
  • Adhere to strict safety guidelines and protocols while performing welding tasks.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and handling of welding equipment and materials.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • IWE Certification: Possess a valid IWE certification, demonstrating proficiency in welding techniques and adherence to international welding standards.
  • Welding Experience: Proven experience as a welder, with a minimum of five years of welding experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and materials commonly used in scaffolding manufacturing.
  • Training Skills: Ability to train and mentor junior welders, imparting knowledge of IWE standards and best practices.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure precision and accuracy in welding tasks and inspections.
  • Safety Awareness: Committed to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams, provide training, and maintain accurate documentation.
