Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Manager to lead our IT support operations and ensure exceptional service delivery across all technology platforms. As an IT Support Manager, driving operational excellence is your primary objective, and you will establish high-performance support standards, develop comprehensive IT support strategies, and expand our technical capabilities through innovative support methodologies and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the IT support team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee and resolve escalated technical issues promptly while maintaining optimal response times and resolution standards.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive IT support policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure operational consistency.
  • Ensure robust security of IT systems through proactive monitoring, threat assessment, and security protocol implementation.
  • Manage IT support tools, software licensing, budgets, and resource allocation to maximise operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate hardware replacements, system maintenance tasks, and infrastructure upgrades across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to safeguard IT assets and ensure seamless technology integration.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate IT support staff while promoting continuous professional development and skill enhancement.
  • Maintain strategic relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal support delivery and cost management.
  • Lead IT infrastructure maintenance initiatives and ensure 99.9% uptime across network systems and data centres.
  • Manage end-to-end IT support operations, including incident resolution, system upgrades, and comprehensive user support.
  • Oversee data security and backup operations, ensuring full compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with vendors, service providers, auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies for IT compliance and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular audits of network systems and proactively mitigate risks related to IT operations and security vulnerabilities.

Who Should Apply?

  • 10+ Years of proven experience in IT support operations with at least 2+ years in team management and leadership roles.
  • Extensive experience in IT systems management, networking protocols, and comprehensive support tool implementation.
  • E./B.Tech in Computer Engineering or IT; MBA preferred.
  • Well-established expertise in incident management, problem resolution, and service delivery optimisation.
  • Educational Qualification: Post Graduate in Computers/IT Engineering, MCA, MBA (Operations/Systems), or equivalent with relevant professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in IT infrastructure maintenance, security management, and compliance framework implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of networking systems, data centre operations, and enterprise-level support methodologies.
  • Experience with vendor management, budget oversight, and resource allocation for IT operations.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of IT security protocols, backup operations, and regulatory compliance requirements.
