We are looking for an Investment Banking / Global Capital Markets professional to join our Global Centers in Mumbai. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing deal execution support, preparing marketing materials including pitchbooks, conducting research and analytics, and providing internal process support to coverage and product teams across Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets and Mergers and Acquisitions globally.
You will receive variety of trainings covering financial analysis, business presentations, and practical skills. At the end of training, you will be able to understand financial concepts and have a strong understanding of the Morgan Stanley culture. In this role, you will gain exposure to financial markets and macro trends, build knowledge of banking and capital markets sectors and products, and work with bankers in core locations. High performers will be eligible for internal mobility opportunities globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with team members across the Investment Banking Division globally to provide a differentiated level of support to our everyday client coverage and capital market related tasks including internal management
- Prepare marketing materials including pitchbooks, information memoranda, road show presentations, analyst presentations and company profiles among others
- Perform financial analysis, including financial metric benchmarking, capital structure analysis, firepower analysis and its interpretation
- Perform company valuation including developing financial models and relative valuation
- Gather and synthesize financial and operating information about companies, industries and governments to analyze performance and drive strategic client dialogue
- Develop industry / macro market landscape including key themes / trends, economic indicators, competitive landscape among other items
- Maintain and update databases leveraged by senior management and deal teams
- Generate presentations and memoranda for a wider senior audience within the Firm
- Other administrative tasks to support overall deal flow and business
- MBA / CA / Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- 1 – 3 years of work experience in related field
- Keen interest in corporate finance / capital markets
- Written competency and spoken language fluency in English
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global teams
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and are at ease with financial data
- Agility and ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a strong work ethic and motivation to learn
- Ability to manage expectations and handle high-pressure situations
- Must have an intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Programming and coding experience / knowledge of AI tools is encouraged
