Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Meet with clients to discuss design requirements, preferences, and budgets.
  • Create detailed interior design concepts, layouts, and mood boards.
  • Select and source materials, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to execute designs.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and implementation to ensure quality standards.
  • Adapt designs to address client feedback and project constraints.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and sustainability practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite).
  • Strong sense of aesthetics, color theory, and spatial planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with clients and teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of completed interior design projects.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices is a plus.
