The Work You'll Do
As an HR Operations Specialist at Sovos, you will support the Manager, HR Operations in administering various HR operations tasks for your assigned region. This role collaborates with the Recruiting and Learning & Development functions to support systems used for onboarding and training employees. Working from India, you will collaborate with global team members across multiple time zones to ensure seamless HR operations throughout the organization.

The Work You'll Do
As an HR Operations Specialist at Sovos, you will support the Manager, HR Operations in administering various HR operations tasks for your assigned region. This role collaborates with the Recruiting and Learning & Development functions to support systems used for onboarding and training employees. Working from India, you will collaborate with global team members across multiple time zones to ensure seamless HR operations throughout the organization.
More Specifically, You Will
- Assist with administering payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing
- Work with local HR team members to address employee questions surrounding Payroll and Benefit programs
- Support the design and development of employee communication materials related to service operations including payroll, benefits, and compensation programs
- Provide support for all compliance-related reporting including various payroll, benefits, and other government required reporting
- Partner with HR team members to champion positive employee relations through effective communication, policies, and practices
- Support the establishment and integration of compensation, payroll, and benefits platforms during mergers and acquisitions
- Leverage AI-powered HR tools and analytics to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and provide data-driven insights for strategic HR decision-making
- Manage, create, and administer various documents in DocuSign relating to employment offers and internal updates and acknowledgments
- Support the HR Leadership in administering, creating, and implementing Performance Management System
- Ensure the accuracy of data within ADP WorkforceNow as the global HRIS
- Collaborate with regional HR team members to process leaves of absence administration
- Navigate working across multiple time zones to provide effective support to global team members
- 1-3 years of professional Human Resources experience, with specific exposure to Indian payroll and compliance regulations.
- Proficient English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model, with 3 days per week on-site at our Navi Mumbai (Vashi) office.
- Experience in HR administration including policy interpretation, employee record/file keeping, and regulatory compliance with global knowledge preferred
- Ability to think strategically toward business outcomes while effectively managing day-to-day details and deadlines
- Experience with HRIS systems, running and analyzing reports for employee reporting with superior accuracy in report details
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with ability to create clear employee communications and present programs to large groups of employees
- Experience or interest in working with AI-enabled HR technologies and a willingness to adapt to emerging tools that transform traditional HR processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities (at times conflicting), remain focused under pressure, and work extended hours as required when collaborating across global time zones
