Position: Head - Quality Control - Heavy Engineering Fabrication

Location: Urla, Raipur, Chhattisgarh

Our client, a leading heavy engineering manufacturer and exporter with over 50 years of industry trust and an annual turnover of USD 100 million, is seeking an experienced individual to lead their Quality Control team in the Heavy Fabrication department. Their state-of-the-art facilities include a Ferrous Foundry, Machine Shop, Heavy Fabrication & Assembly, and Design & Engineering departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest quality in all fabrication projects.
• Review and approve project plans, documents, and specifications for compliance with quality standards.
• Lead and manage a team of quality control professionals, providing guidance and support.
• Monitor quality control metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality control processes throughout the fabrication workflow.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and international standards to ensure company compliance.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to address quality concerns and provide updates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure material quality.
• Train and mentor team members on quality control processes, offering ongoing support.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of quality control experience in the heavy fabrication industry.
• Currently holding a GM/AGM/DGM Quality Control position in a reputable fabrication company.
• Strong knowledge of international quality control standards, documentation, and processes.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing quality control procedures.
• Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
