Role Purpose

Lead the finance function of the offshoring capability and support the Finance Director in creating the appropriate governance and financial reporting framework through the application of corporate portfolio management principals.

Requirements

Total Experience

  • 10+ years of experience

Relevant Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Accounting and/or Financial Management.
  • Experience in IT Captives / GCCs with multi-entity & multi-currency operations.
  • Experience into Taxation and Auditing
  • Experience in transfer pricing, consolidation, and global reporting.
  • Exposure to project finance and cost optimization initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities/Kras/Kpis

Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Drive financial strategy, planning, and analysis aligned with global business objectives.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Partner with business leaders to support decision-making through financial insights.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with SEZ regulations (SERF, Softex, MPR, APR, DTA, DSPF).
  • Oversee statutory, tax, and internal audits; ensure timely and accurate filings.
  • Manage GST, TDS, Advance Tax, and other direct/indirect tax obligations.

Financial Reporting & Controls

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to global headquarters.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements under IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Drive process improvements in month-end close, reconciliations, and

intercompany transactions.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee payroll, vendor payments, and treasury operations.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Lead finance automation and ERP optimization (JDE, SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Legal, and IT.
  • Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

Mandatory Skills

  • Accounting and/or Financial Management.
  • Taxation
  • Auditing
  • ERP System - JDE / Tally
  • Strong MS Office skills

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure in IFRS.
  • Transfer Pricing.
