Required experience: 17-25 years ( Ideal candidate must be a retired senior officer of the Indian Navy at least of the rank of Captain (IN) / Commander, with a flair for the role, and would need to take up the role at short notice).

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. In Naval Architecture/Mechanical/Production/Electrical.

Job Location: L&T OFFICE, DELHI

Job Responsibilities

  • The role would involve Business Development related customer engagement with The Ministry of Defence, The Indian Navy, The Indian Coast Guard, other Ministries in Govt. of India and other key stakeholders.
  • Develop an understanding of key competitors by collection of relevant market intelligence.
  • Facilitate meetings of senior officers with Ministry of Defense (MoD, Naval establishment and other allied agencies.
  • Establish strategy for receiving the Request for Proposals from Indian Navy, Coast Guard & Defense Research & Development Organization (DRDO) /Directorate of Hydrography (DOH) and others.
  • Interact with Industry Associations (CII, FICCI and ASSOCHAM etc.,) for favorable policy changes.
  • In addition, execute any other jobs/tasks as assigned from time to time.
