Job Overview

The Customer Service position is responsible for providing after-market-service support to customers through Field service, Repair and Spares support and for ensuring positive impact on top & bottom line of service through following duties

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

Responsibilities:

• Work with management of the business unit to design strategy and roadmap
• Provide information for management by preparing short-term and long-term sales forecasts and service business opportunities
• Develop and lead customer service team and set-up, including technicians and sub-vendors, to ensure team objectives and sales goals are being carried out
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, and promote service business opportunities
• Develop and maintain relationships with sub-vendors and suppliers that support after-market-service operations
• Work with the Field Service Manager (TURBO), ACD-LLC, USA by playing a role in the global service team and offering Field service support to Indian and global customers.
• Work in concert with principals, ACD-LLC, USA and maintain a high level of knowledge on pumps to support customer needs
• Planning for the fruitful site visits
• Efficient traveling well within the planned travel budget
• A customer satisfaction
• Follow all safety regulations for self and others
• Proper documentation at the site during the visit
• Bridge the gap between the organization and customer
• Responsibility for measuring, monitoring, analysis, and evaluation of IMS Objective
• Responsibility for maintained and be made available extended necessary of organizational knowledge.
• Responsibility for retaining and maintaining documented information
• Responsibility for correcting, preventing, or reducing undesired effects.
• Free access to the Global Technical support team
• Free access to all tools and tackles available
• Take parts replacement decision if it is necessary at site
• Prepare and submit spare parts quotations against enquiries received from the customers, prepare cost sheet accordingly.
• Work with global team to expand service center capabilities.
  
  

Authority

• To represent Nikkiso Cryogenic services division of Nikkiso Cosmodyne India Private Limited. and submit offers for repairs, parts supply, field service to Indian customers for ACD make pumps.
• To manage service department team members
• To prepare customer service interactions, including reports and recommendations
  
  

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities and does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills

• BE in Mechanical Engineering
• Good technical skills.
• Communication skills, including the ability to explain clearly, listen to the feedback of clients – and relay this to colleagues.
• The ability to negotiate with and influence others.
