We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Facilities Management for our India operations. This leadership position will be responsible for the strategic management and optimization of the company's real estate portfolio, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant operations across our Bangalore and Pune offices. The individual will lead a team to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of all facilities

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Leadership:

  • Develop and execute real estate plans that align with business objectives
  • Provide leadership and direction to the facilities management team, ensuring optimal performance, efficiency, and adherence to operational standards.
  • Monitor the property market and provide insights to facilitate decision-making.
  • Manage and execute sustainability initiatives within the real estate portfolio
  • Serve as the local SPOC between the Global Real Estate team

Operational Management

  • Prepare and manage the real estate operational & project budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources and adherence to financial target
  • Oversee various building and administrative services functions, including disaster recovery and quality management.
  • Oversee transport operations across both sites, managing transport for 8,500 partners
  • Coordinate building alterations and construction projects.
  • Develop, contract and maintain relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors, and real estate service providers.

Compliance & Safety Management

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legal & regulatory requirements related to facilities management, including fire safety, building codes, and occupational health and safety.
  • Lead audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain high safety standards.
  • Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans.

Team Development & Employee Engagement

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence within the facilities management team.
  • Make management decisions, including hiring, performance reviews, pay decisionsand partner development.
  • Provide leadership to internal managers and outsourced providers and guide the team to achieve service, quality and timeliness objectives

Skills Required

  • Strategic experience and the ability to see the big picture.
  • Strong planning and management skills for transport operations.
  • Knowledge of statutory compliances, governance, and risk analysis.
  • Strong people management skills, providing guidance and leadership.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with adaptability to change, and the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and influence decision-makers.
  • Relationship management skills across businesses, vendors, and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with real estate and transport management software
  • Ability to liaise with government authorities and industry with in-depth functional/industry knowledge
  • Ability and experience creating (in PowerPoint) and performing complex presentations to senior management on critical topics and situations.
  • Project Management – Be able to manage a low to mid-range project from beginning to end. This includes but not limited to hiring all needed and applicable contractors to carry out full responsibilities and scope. Organizing internal workstreams to insure the best possible outcome.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Facility Management, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Chartered Surveyor (MRICS), or Certified Real Estate Investment Advisor (CREIA) are advantageous.

Experience

  • Minimum of 15+ years of experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing multi-location facilities in India.
  • Proven track record in managing large budgets and complex operations
