We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work for our Pressure Management Business unit at Mahindra World City, Chengalpattu. This role will aim to provide understanding and technicality of drawings, manuals, procedures, process and focus on productivity required for assembly line. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead by example, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace is always maintained, strict adherence to safety guidelines, oversee safe use of equipment and validate Job safety analysis.
- Plan and allocate the load to work force, monitor the productivity and quality output, maintain the daily log reports, maintain plan vs actual, ability to train the work force and lead the team.
- Ensuring compliance with procedures, operating instructions, and work instructions.
- Ability to develop and improve the visual control system in shop floor and Lead 5S practice and guide the employees to maintain clean and organized workplace.
- Required strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle day-to-day shop floor concerns. Identify and eliminate the root cause and implement sustainable corrective action to eliminate repeated issues.
- Contribute to improve production efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, Improvement of working procedures, developing the skillset of workforce, Implement Poka-yoke (error proofing) system, contribute to continuous improvement activities, Generating Kaizens and Safety improvement opportunities.
- Motivate and communicate with the teams by utilizing visual management, delivering shift briefs with a focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost and gathering ideas and suggestions.
- Capable of handling multitasking and strictly adhering the task within expected timeline, highly capable of innovating new ideas and concepts in shop floor.

- Ready to take challenging / new task and willing to work in shifts
- Expertise in Valve Manufacturing Process.
- Expertise in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Automotive / Manufacturing Engineering with 6 to 12 years of experience.
- Ability to work in shifts
- Good communication and people management skills.
- High level of integrity & trust
- Ability to perform under stress & Strong work ethics.
- Managerial skill and ability to work independently with people at all levels.
