The Amazon Kindle Non-Fiction Content team is looking for Software Development Engineers! Our team is re-imagining the bookstore experience, making the store feel tailored for individual customers. As part of the team, you'll build services and features to improve how customers discover and connect with books that match their interests. Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
