The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Campus Hiring Manager to lead our campus recruitment efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing innovative strategies to attract top talent from universities and colleges. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a deep understanding of the campus recruitment landscape, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management: Oversee the design and execution of early career programs, including internships, apprenticeships, and entry-level roles.

Strategic Planning: Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to develop comprehensive strategies for university hiring and early career programs.

Academia Connect: Cultivate and maintain relationships with universities, career services, and student organizations to promote the company as an employer of choice.

Event Coordination: Plan and participate in on-campus and virtual recruitment events, workshops, leadership talks, and pre-placement talks to attract and engage potential candidates.

Candidate Experience: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for candidates from application to onboarding.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate regularly with hiring managers, HR partners, and leadership to align on recruitment goals and program effectiveness.

Data Analysis: Track and analyse recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of campus hiring initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

Brand Promotion: Promote the company’s employer brand on campuses through various channels, including social media, campus events, and partnerships.

Diversity Initiatives: Implement strategies to enhance diversity in campus hiring and ensure an inclusive recruitment process.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 8 to 12 years of proven experience in campus recruitment for Engineering disciplines (Non-IT Hiring), preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong understanding of the campus recruitment landscape and trends.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in using recruitment software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for engaging with students and promoting career opportunities.
