Job Overview:

Assist the Lead Document Management lead in completing the day-to-day project activities. Gain experience in the following work area: iDocs and develop basic technical skills to complete assigned work.

Responsibilities

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Accurately track, log, and distribute releases of both internal and external documentation including metadata
  • Archiving of project records
  • Indexes and distributes project documents in an accurate and timely manner
  • Become familiar with pertinent aspects of the Contract and Project Information Management Requirements
  • Reads and implements Project-Specific Information Management Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Responsible for identifying Information Management issues or areas of improvement

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • 3 years min Document Management experience with major contractor or consultant
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream or equivalent diploma (preferable in Computer Science)
  • Good knowledge of Electronic Database Management System (EDMS) software, MS office and Adobe

Preferred Qualifications and Education:

  • Good command of English (both verbal and in writing)
  • Experience with the use of EDMS
  • Experience with the use of MS Office
  • Hands-on experience in EPC project execution in the Oil & Gas contracting industry
  • Experience in multi-office project execution (MOPEX)
