We are seeking someone to join our team at a Director position within Travel and Meetings Management, which specializes in the Firm's travel and meetings management activities.

In the Corporate Services division, we provide solutions that enable Morgan Stanley’s workforce, across our global workplace locations, to effectively and efficiently work in the service of our clients . Sourcing / Procurement is responsible for procurement (e.g., purchasing and supply chain activities), as well as vendor management (e.g., business requirements gathering, sourcing strategy, competitive and market assessments, negotiation, contracting, and relationships associated with outsourced services).

What You’ll Do In The Role:

Air Program

  • Delivery of high-quality travel services within the Asia region with a focus on leading the Asia Airlines Program.
  • Manage all day to day operational, vendor management and client service-related issues within the areas of

responsibility.

  • Engage and consult with business units, ensuring they are informed about cost-effective opportunities with

preferred Air partners, services and managing business expenses.

  • Ensure delivery of management information and insights on Asia Air program; monitor volume (tickets, spend,

share) against targets.

  • Host quarterly performance reviews with preferred Air partners to ensure contracts are performing as intended

and meeting cost-savings goals.

  • Participate in global Air projects and provide support as needed (training).

Travel Data & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly / quarterly reporting related to regional Air spend, for Business Units and Cross-Divisional

Stakeholders (e.g., COO teams, Expense Management).

  • Complete ad-hoc reporting as it relates to internal strategy projects (creating specialized dashboards, identifying

trends, and providing insights and suggestions based on data analysis to improve compliance, cost controls and

Firm Objectives. Specifically:

  • Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and areas of concern.
  • Provide regular reports to management on trends and compliance issues.
  • Offer insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Monitor ongoing data quality of multiple data sources (e.g., MyTripApproval) and reporting tools (e.g., iBank,

TravelOptix, BOXI, Access databases); perform end-user testing as the business user expert.

  • Build relationships with internal clients, provide support, and prepare presentations as needed (taking ownership,

subject matter expert) – highlighting travel trends, Global Travel team initiatives, best practices for BU specific

needs.

  • Troubleshoot and review routine reports for automation, improved efficiency, and consistency; implement and

manage updates for automatically generated reports.

  • Develop MI analysts to deliver accurate, timely and insightful reporting

What You’ll Bring To The Role:

  • 5 years of Air Program Management and Metrics / Analytics Reporting experience preferred.
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge of corporate travel and/or previous experience in a travel related role.
  • Managing internal and external professional business relationships at a senior management level.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English Communication skills: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; Ability to

leverage data to support decision making.

  • Computer Literacy (Software Applications / Mainframe): Microsoft applications and a functional understanding of

travel global distribution systems; Experience with Tableau, Qlik Sense, Power BI, or similar data analytics tools.

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure and efficiently on multiple project requests simultaneously.
  • Consistent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Advocate for innovation and value-driven-change; thinking creatively and critically to approach strategy planning

and complex problem solving; familiar with industry developments and key benchmarks.
