Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Product Management – Fulfillment Platform to define and drive the evolution of core fulfillment capabilities. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on shaping product strategy and platform vision to secure Flipkart’s long-term competitive edge. We are embarking on a multu-year effort to dramatically reimagine our platform, its capabilities and lay the foundation for the next several years of growth.
The Director will take on the most complex, high-stakes decisions around customer promise, warehouse operations management, core logistics networks, commitment frameworks, network orchestration, and reliability at scale.
This role is designed for a leader who thrives on solving foundational challenges hands-on — shaping platform strategy, driving clarity across senior stakeholders, and making decisions that define the backbone of Flipkart’s fulfillment systems.

- FSE (Fulfillment Services Engineering): Driving customer promise accuracy and intelligent network orchestration.
- ASSETS: Owning warehouse operations management platforms that power efficiency, throughput, and reliability across our nationwide facility network.
- CL (Core Logistics): Building and scaling middle- and last-mile operations management platforms to ensure fast, cost-effective, and trustworthy delivery.
- creating a unified platform adaptable across hyperlocal, grocery, traditional e-commerce, and large-format supply chains

Key Responsibilities
Platform Vision & Strategy
- Define long-term vision and roadmap for fulfillment platforms spanning customer promise, warehouse operations, core logistics, commitment frameworks, orchestration, and reliability at scale.
- Anticipate future growth and design systems that balance today’s needs with tomorrow’s scale.
- Drive faster innovation cycles, improve customer trust metrics, and strengthen Flipkart’s differentiation in hyperlocal, grocery, and large-format fulfillment.
- Set clear priorities to unify platforms and establish the foundation for AI-driven decisioning within the first 12–18 months.
- Own the most complex decisions in fulfillment — spanning logistics networks, warehouse systems, promise accuracy models, and intelligent orchestration frameworks — ensuring reliability without slowing innovation.
- Create clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and influence direction at the highest levels.
- Partner with engineering and operations to bring strategy into execution.
- Align and influence senior stakeholders across supply chain, logistics, data science, and business teams.
- Serve as the voice of fulfillment platform strategy in leadership forums.
- Proactively seeks and applies cutting-edge insights, including advancements in science and technology, to fuel innovative and out-of-the-box ideas.
- Leverages these insights with a bold appetite for risk-taking to redefine industry standards and unlock transformative opportunities.
- Experience: 12–18 years in product management, with deep focus on fulfillment/supply chain/logistics platforms in large, mature organizations (Amazon, SAP, Walmart, etc.). Must have operated at global scale, navigating worldwide complexity and translating global best practices into context-specific solutions for India.
- Strategic Depth: Proven ability to own product strategy and platform vision, making high-complexity product decisions that have enterprise-wide impact.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of distributed systems, orchestration engines, APIs, and large-scale data-driven decisioning.
- Leadership Style: Ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive clarity, and set direction — thriving as a senior IC without needing people management as a lever.
- Mindset: Customer-obsessed, structured, and transformation-oriented.
