Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions for hardware manufacturing.
  • Develop and implement quality systems aligned with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards.
  • Oversee product validation, testing, and inspection (CASS, adhesion, hardness, functional tests, dimensional checks).
  • Manage customer complaints and drive corrective and preventive actions using 8D, 5Why, and other tools.
  • Conduct internal and external audits, and support supplier quality management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, improve finishes, and enhance process capability.
  • Provide training to quality inspectors and shop-floor teams on quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with NPD for product development quality and validation.
  • Report key quality metrics and ensure compliance with customer requirements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in Quality Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in hardware or automotive manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of forging, die casting, sheet metal, machining, plating, and finishing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and control plans.
  • Expertise in problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5Why, Fishbone).
  • Experience in managing customer and supplier audits.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
