Digital Transformation & AI Specialist

Qatar Airways is seeking experienced professionals for the role of Digital Transformation & AI Senior Analyst based at Combined Delivery Center (CDC) in Ahmedabad, India.

The Digital Transformation & AI Senior Analyst designs, builds, and operationalizes AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact across Global Business Services (GBS). The role partners with process owners and IT/Digital to discover high value use cases, develop production grade models, and implement AI practices to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant AI at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of finance shared services processes through data analysis and process mapping for all service lines.
• Discover, prioritize, and shape AI/automation use cases with business leaders; run structured discovery and rapid experimentation to validate value and feasibility
• Design and deliver end to end AI solutions (data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring) with strong documentation and reproducibility;
• Apply CASE principles (Centralize, Automate, Simplify, Eliminate) in AI solution design and process change recommendations; quantify benefits (time/cost/quality
• Partner with IT/Digital to integrate AI services with enterprise platforms (e.g., Oracle embedded AI, data warehouses, APIs) ensuring security, performance, and maintainability
• Lead proof‑of‑concepts through to industrialization; establish acceptance criteria, success metrics, and ROI tracking; create playbooks/templates to accelerate future delivery
• Implement model governance and adhere to enterprise policies for ethical AI and risk management
• Manage stakeholder expectations and cross functional alignment; facilitate workshops and design reviews; contribute to the broader digital/AI transformation roadmap
• Produce high‑quality technical and user documentation; enable transition to BAU support with clear runbooks and monitoring dashboards
• Collaborate with service line leaders to establish databases of processes and other documentation that support business plans, business improvements, core activities and further implement sustainable process improvements.

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• Process engineering or Lean Six Sigma experience
• AI/ML engineering experience delivering production solutions
• Data analysis interpretation and evaluation of reports
• Programming & Data: Python; SQL; data modeling; distributed data processing.
• ML/AI: Classical ML (scikit‑learn), deep learning (PyTorch/TensorFlow), NLP/LLMs; experiment tracking; A/B testing.
