Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
As a Transmission Production Officer at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the production of transmissions for tractors within the Farm Division. Your key deliverables will include coordinating with the manufacturing team, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing production processes to meet target deadlines. Additionally, you will be involved in implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in the production line.
Experience
B.Tech with 3-6 years of experience or a Diploma with 7-10 years of experience in mechanical or automobile engineering. You should have a strong understanding of transmission systems, production processes, and quality control standards. Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in the agricultural machinery sector, will be advantageous.
Industry Preferred
While experience in the agricultural machinery industry is preferred, candidates from related manufacturing sectors such as automotive or heavy machinery are also encouraged to apply. Familiarity with tractor transmission systems and components will be beneficial in adapting quickly to the responsibilities of the role. The ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential.
Qualifications
B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering. A strong educational background in relevant fields, combined with hands-on experience in production and manufacturing roles, will be highly regarded. Proficiency in using computer-aided design tools and understanding engineering drawings is a definite plus.
