Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to understand the specific requirements for procurement of equipment, materials, and services
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective procurement
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance to meet operational and project requirements
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and project management to ensure compliance with regulations and project timelines
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements to make informed procurement decisions
- Prepare and present techno commercial reports and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field
- Master's degree or professional certifications in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is a plus
