Responsibilities
Strategic
Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ Diploma in Electrical
Should have minimum 20 years site experience of power plant of size 500MW or more.
Strategic
- Monitoring & coordination of electrical installation activities related to CW System, WTP, FOPH, FF along with its associated systems for erection & commissioning in line with the schedule date of synchronisation of the unit.
- Smooth and timely erection & commissioning of plant through coordination of relevant teams from Project and Generation.
- Ensure that Quality as per Quality Plans & Safety as per safety guidelines.
- Electrical Execution (Installation & Commissioning) of CW & Associated Systems.
- Electrical Execution (Installation & Commissioning) of WTP, FOPH, FF & Associated Systems.
- Ensure accurate updating of progress and MIS reports to department heads.
- Periodically review overall progress of work in line with KRAs.
- Ensure smooth coordination across all departments at the site for resolving any outstanding issues.
- Ensure timely closure of any outstanding Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) for the designated area, as reported by internal/ external audits.
- Enable capability development of subordinates within the team by overseeing & coordination of their work.
- Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters and feedback to team members.
- Finding & Planning of training required for each team member
