IDFC FIRST Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Defense Acquisition Manager to join our Retail Banking team in Hyderabad, Telangana. As a Defense Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and managing relationships with defense personnel for our Corporate Salary accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to acquire new defense personnel as customers for our Corporate Salary accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with defense personnel to increase customer retention and cross-selling opportunities
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify potential defense customers and develop targeted marketing campaigns
• Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the defense sector and use this information to develop sales strategies
• Act as a liaison between the bank and defense organizations to ensure smooth onboarding and servicing of customers
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to senior management
• Stay updated on industry developments and regulations related to defense personnel banking to ensure compliance and competitive advantage
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
• Proven track record of successfully acquiring and managing defense customers
• Strong understanding of the defense sector and its banking needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with defense personnel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
