Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data stewards across various departments to ensure proper data classification and ownership.
- Implement and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and industry data standards.
- Serve as a liaison between data management, functions and business departments.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata to ensure consistency.
- Oversee the migration, storage, and archiving of data.
- Collaborate with data engineers and database administrators to resolve data-related issues.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in data processes.
- This position has/does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in data management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data management, governance, or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Microsoft Purview).
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data management in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems.
- Knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
