ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT

CIMET provides end-to-end comparison and signup of energy and telecommunication plans through its online solution in a B2B and B2C environment. It presently caters to more than 25 Energy and Broadband Providers and has over 30 white label partners and other co-branded partners. The online comparison market is extremely crowded in Australia, with most comparators providing a light touch directory solution. CIMET saw this as an opportunity and developed a fully integrated online comparison and signup platform.

On 15 March 2022, CIMET partnered with iSelect who acquired a 49% stake in CIMET Holdings. Going forward, CIMET will use this investment from iSelect to expand into new products including Credit Cards, Home loans, Car loans, Personal loans, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Pet Insurance among others. CIMET today has around 150 team members, across Australia, India and Philippines and will double over the next 2 years.

Key Accountabilities

• Creating visually appealing graphics for various platforms (web, social media, print).
• Developing brand visuals, including logos, color schemes, and typography.
• Designing marketing materials such as brochures, banners, and advertisements.
• Meeting deadlines and ensuring timely delivery of design assets.
• Coordinating with other team members to align design projects with overall marketing goals.
• Working closely with copywriters, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive design and messaging.
• Maintaining consistency in style, color, and tone across all visual materials.
• Staying updated with design trends and industry standards.
• Bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to design projects.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.).
• Creating high-quality, print-ready files and web-optimized graphics.
• Understanding and implementing design best practices for various media.
• Presenting design concepts to clients and making necessary revisions based on feedback.
  
  

KEY DESIRABLES

• Extensive experience in graphic design, preferably in a senior or lead role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects across various platforms (web, print, social media).
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, etc.). Ability to generate original and innovative design concepts.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, with a strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, techniques, and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to present and explain design concepts to non-design stakeholders.
• Experience in incorporating feedback and working collaboratively with other team members.
